Bromitus Necrons: Lychguard and Cryptek painted; What to look forward to..

Hello once again!
I had some time (and it was so bright) that I decided to take some pictures of the newest painted Necrons! :D
The Necron Cryptek was a simple conversion only using a Deathmark head, a Necron Warrior torso (and the left hand), a Triarch Praetorian staff and one of their Back spine (correct me if I have miss written that). Anyways, here are the pictures!

The pictures are okay this time, they look better irl, but some of the mistakes aren't so noticeable with a naked eye. Also a few of 'em are quite shady.

I bought a box of Immortals from Fantasiapelit shop (there is still one more waiting) and I will probably build them soon. We will see when though.

Slabba's Pirate Gitz Arrive on Cardano System; Slabba Da Hat Hunta

Finally, I'm actually showing off one of my Orks.. xD
Slabba (used as Ghazghkull Thraka*) is the bad ass of a Pirate Ork force that I have (though they aren't that "pirate-ish" by the looks). I very often use him due to the pure awesomeness he is. I mean who wouldn't like to be a big ork that is clad in metal armour? It was really fun to paint him, and the pictures are quite close to what he looks irl. Now for some fluff!

Slabba, a mighty Warboss of a Pirate Clan named after him, is very known in the Cardano System and anywhere near it (so Ultramar, Sautekh** Dynasty, Tau Empire etc.). Though his forces often fight anyone with something to loot, he is also known to work as a mercenary to anyone who can make a good deal. Even though looting is one of his very favourite hobbies (and fighting), he is known for a collection of large amount of hats/helmets. Every time he defeats someone in a challenge, he takes their hat/helmet and takes it to his large hall of hats. No one knows why he does it, but there have been some speculations that it might be because of a hat he once lost. They even think that the whole reason for all the fights might be because he is looking for that one hat, but can't simply find it. If that is the reason, the ork activity will only get bigger and bigger until he finds it or has the whole Cardano System infested with uncountable amount of orks.

The blood may be a little too bright, but meh, its just fresh then. :D

This one was probably the blurriest of the pictures.

Nothing special over here! The skull looks better irl. But otherwise everything looks about the same.

News; What to look forward to!

Hahaa! Its been a long while since I've updated this blog of mine! :D
I just recently started to paint some of my miniatures again, but only few of them are finished. Most of them are Orks, but I am currently working on my necrons, painting the Lychguard and the Cryptek (that I had shown earlier in the blog). I will post some pictures as I finish the units, but it may take some time. Meanwhile I might show some of my very first army's models (hint: Space Communist Japanese Fighting Fish) that I painted into a new scheme while I was at my summer job.

Also, as a side question: Should I or should I not keep keep writing this blog in English? What I've seen is that most of the views (somehow) are from English speaking countries (mainly USA if I remember correctly) but all of the dedicated followers are Finnish. I would still write the Fluff parts in English though.*

Now that is one heck of a big topic! :D
Okay, so I've finally finished my Christmas presents, (Immortals+Imotekh) and would happily like to announce that I won't be doing any 40k stuff for a while, because I'm going to do a project for Fantasy Battles, and which will not be shown on this blog, due to being only for 40k. xD
I'll probably do in the middle of it some WBB (or that protocol thing*) markers.. or atleast hope so..
But now time for my crappy pictures again! (Yay!)
Once more, they look better irl imhao.
First some picture of my Lord:

Then my annihilation barge:

Who needs a covered piloting position when you can have the front line seat!

And, last of the painted ones, my first squad of 10 Immortals:

They are otherwise complete except for their base rims (or whatever you call 'em) 

And then the next necrons in line for painting (and basing), Lych Guard and Cryptek:

The squad still needs three guards more!

Well that is all for some time, for now..

I'll be posting the fantasy project on sotavasara forum tomorrow, just for information.

Bromitus Necrons are back; Imotekh the Stormlord

Long time no see! Again!
I know, it has been long time since last update, but I can't help it.. I haven't had time to paint, nor have I had any inspiration.. :(
But, I actually finally took some pictures, starting with Imotekh! The pictures are really terrible, I know, but I couldn't get a good lighting, since it's winter and all that. Also, he looks way better irl.  But enough of talking, here you go!

He really looks a lot more darker

I'm not that satisfied with the result. For some reason I find the staff quite hideous.. :(

Also, since it was finecast (or I would say failcast..) the figurine needed quite a lot of work, and the ball on his head was missing, but no matter.. Enough of ranting! Next I should probably take pictures of my finished Annihilation Barge.
