I've finally finished 1/2 of the Terminator! :D
Next would probably be 1/2 of the Genestealers, but, before undercoatting them, I might paint couple of my Chaos Lizards.

Showcase; Grand Officer Danius Poile

I've always loved the model, and when I got him from my friend, I just had to paint it as soon as possible!
I had some difficulties deciding how to paint him, and I'm very pleased with the result.

Danius Poile is the Grand Officer of Cardano System, commanding all the Imperial Guard Regiments that fight there. His superior tactics have helped him defeat almost any battle fought. It is believed that Cardano System would have been lost long time ago, if he wouldn't be in command.

Sorry for not updating! I've been at our summer cottage and just came home today.
I've painted the miniature for the same friend that wanted Castellan Crowe some time ago.
So without anymore delay, here are the pictures:

He didn't want it to be based.. D: Oh well..

I believe it's almost entirely made from the normal GK termy kit -> I didn't make it!

I really had some difficulty with that halberd(?) as it broke and I couldn't decide how to paint the blade part..

Overall I'm ok with the result, though I'd have changed few things in it (Like add a freehand on the hood).
Tomorrow I'll try to update this blog a little more..

News, more news, and nothing but news!

So yah, nothing much has been going on, even with campaign! I'm having my first match tomorrow, My orks versus Chaos Space Marines. I hope it will get much more 'action packed' next week, but the today's heat just made me, my brother (He is using my Blood Angels in the campaign, by the way) and my friend (Tyranid player) to go to the beach. I was supposed to have this game yesterday, but CSM player didn't have time to play then..

On to some painting news.. I've painted one of the Terminators (the one with Lightning Claws) and a test sample for my Ork colour scheme. I'll add them later, probably when I get another Terminator ready, leaving my with one undercoated terminator. After that, I'll start painting up some of the Genestealers.

I think I'll make a picture-less batrep about the game. I hope I'll have a good memory of it, and it will actually be my first batrep ever!

Orks on the march for glory; 1,5k Ork Army list with which to conquer Thenchor

Aah.. yes, one of my 4 armies is going to get to beat some humies and Tyranids!
So this is an army list I'm using on an campaign that is set in Thenchor. The campaign uses Cities of Death rules, but missions can be from normal or from the CoD. The games are 1500 point games and we use the Planetary Empires.  The campaign starts Monday and ends Sunday 31. of this month. I might put some Battle reports here, but no pictures. Space Marines; My history as a wargamer; marines and Terminator for The Red Terror

Long time no update!
I'm back, and this time to show you that I've actually painted 1 miniature in a month! I really need some inspiration, so I thought to start talking about the inspiration for the colour scheme.
But first, some pictures!

I won't be adding any fluff about him today, as I don't want this to be too big..

Now.. About 8 years ago, I was introduced to this hobby by my friends, and I just fell in love with the old Lizardmen. about in a week after that I got my first starter set. The one that comes with 5 space marines, one of which has a Missile Launcher. I was kinda confused back then as one of the marines was blue, while the other were grey. I painted them quite many times and even though they are not so fun to look at, I still like them. they were also my origin to my current Marine scheme. After that box, I got a box of 10 skink archers, but that's another story.

As you can see their colour scheme is quite close. The old marines got me some inspiration for sometime, but now I've ran out of inspiration, and need some to continue painting the metal box users. Now, here are 2 other Black Tears marines:
