Finally Tau are here..! At a wrong time!

Note: This is partly a rant!

Tau are finally here. I've waited for this moment for so long, but I find that this is not a happy day. Last Month the WoC came out, and due to that (and some video games) I can only afford the codex, which makes me pissed. If the all-mighty GW told us who come next - like before (I believe Tomb Kings were the last one?) it was 2 months before the release - I wouldn't have this problem. Well I can always hope that I'll be able to buy some new Tau models during the Summer..

Atleast the models look good. Even though they look fantastic, they are really overpriced.. Only set that feels like it should cost that much would probably be the Tau Pathfinders. I would've even been okay witha cost of 30 e for them.

This wasn't such a bad thing though. Now I at least know that I should start repainting and repairing my old Tau army (first 40k army I ever started).  Just after I've done some of the WoC. This will also mean that I'll probably re-do my Tau's fluff. Instead of controlling a lava-planet, I might make it so that they control a jungle planet instead.

Also as a side note, I've been thinking about my Space Marine's colour scheme and I've come to a conclusion that it's not working out for me. That is why I'll make a new colour scheme for them (starting with Space Hulk models). The fluff will stay the same though.

In other words.. I'll upload more stuff here in the future again. :DD

Bromitus Necrons: Lychguard and Cryptek painted; What to look forward to..

Hello once again!
I had some time (and it was so bright) that I decided to take some pictures of the newest painted Necrons! :D
The Necron Cryptek was a simple conversion only using a Deathmark head, a Necron Warrior torso (and the left hand), a Triarch Praetorian staff and one of their Back spine (correct me if I have miss written that). Anyways, here are the pictures!

The pictures are okay this time, they look better irl, but some of the mistakes aren't so noticeable with a naked eye. Also a few of 'em are quite shady.

I bought a box of Immortals from Fantasiapelit shop (there is still one more waiting) and I will probably build them soon. We will see when though.

News; What to look forward to!

Hahaa! Its been a long while since I've updated this blog of mine! :D
I just recently started to paint some of my miniatures again, but only few of them are finished. Most of them are Orks, but I am currently working on my necrons, painting the Lychguard and the Cryptek (that I had shown earlier in the blog). I will post some pictures as I finish the units, but it may take some time. Meanwhile I might show some of my very first army's models (hint: Space Communist Japanese Fighting Fish) that I painted into a new scheme while I was at my summer job.

Also, as a side question: Should I or should I not keep keep writing this blog in English? What I've seen is that most of the views (somehow) are from English speaking countries (mainly USA if I remember correctly) but all of the dedicated followers are Finnish. I would still write the Fluff parts in English though.*

Big update: Necron Lord/ Cryptek; Immortals; Annihilation Barge; Immortals; wip Lych Guard; wip Cryptek!

Now that is one heck of a big topic! :D
Okay, so I've finally finished my Christmas presents, (Immortals+Imotekh) and would happily like to announce that I won't be doing any 40k stuff for a while, because I'm going to do a project for Fantasy Battles, and which will not be shown on this blog, due to being only for 40k. xD
I'll probably do in the middle of it some WBB (or that protocol thing*) markers.. or atleast hope so..
But now time for my crappy pictures again! (Yay!)
Once more, they look better irl imhao.
First some picture of my Lord:

Boy have I had fun today, so busy, that I can actually only now post this, even though I was supposed to post it  in the morning.
As a small treat for christmas, instead of posting my long late genestealer pictures (xD), I'm going to show this great video I found today.

And some news, you should see (and I mean it!) some new necrons soon, like for example a scratch built Cryptek (though it still needs a staff..), an Imotekh, and 10 Immortals.

Finally!
In just less than 10 hours starts a new day and a new day for necrons! I am just so excited about the new releases! :D
But, I fear that you will only be seeing more necrons (except lists for my army) after christmas, as I'm currently busy getting my Space Hulk ready (the 1/4 genestealers only need metal on their bases as we speak) and I'll be buying some skaven (such products as 1-2 boxes of Stormvermin and the old metal warplightning cannon,) after (or before) the necron codex.

The Red Terror continues; 1/4 of the genestealers done!

Okay so finally an update!
I've had these lads finished for some time now, but I haven't had the time (or lighting) to take pictures.
the other 1/4 should be ready soon, as I've been painting quite a lot recently..
So here are the pictures! And yes, the pictures are kinda crappy, but I finally had the time, but it is already a little dark.. Also the red looks a lot more smoother and such irl. Also, I finally got to use the new vallejo paints I ordered, so I'm still a little 'alien' to how to use them properly, because I'm used to Citadel colours.

Also the dead skin looks much more.. grey.
Also my friend (who plays behemoth tyranids) said that this is their broodlord wannabee! xD

Hahaa! I'm back!
Found some old(ish) pictures, of some minis I painted for a friend of mine.

Now, first of all, I didn't assemble them, he did.
And second, I didn't base them, as he didn't want to.
And third, He already has them so I can't take any better pictures.

I haven't been painting the Genestealers, as I've been waiting to get some paints (mostly red paints) and Mephiston from Boostep, and they still haven't arrived...

Probably gonna ask them what is taking so long, as I've soon had enough of waiting..
