Finally Tau are here..! At a wrong time!

Note: This is partly a rant!

Tau are finally here. I've waited for this moment for so long, but I find that this is not a happy day. Last Month the WoC came out, and due to that (and some video games) I can only afford the codex, which makes me pissed. If the all-mighty GW told us who come next - like before (I believe Tomb Kings were the last one?) it was 2 months before the release - I wouldn't have this problem. Well I can always hope that I'll be able to buy some new Tau models during the Summer..

Atleast the models look good. Even though they look fantastic, they are really overpriced.. Only set that feels like it should cost that much would probably be the Tau Pathfinders. I would've even been okay witha cost of 30 e for them.

This wasn't such a bad thing though. Now I at least know that I should start repainting and repairing my old Tau army (first 40k army I ever started).  Just after I've done some of the WoC. This will also mean that I'll probably re-do my Tau's fluff. Instead of controlling a lava-planet, I might make it so that they control a jungle planet instead.

Also as a side note, I've been thinking about my Space Marine's colour scheme and I've come to a conclusion that it's not working out for me. That is why I'll make a new colour scheme for them (starting with Space Hulk models). The fluff will stay the same though.

In other words.. I'll upload more stuff here in the future again. :DD

The Red Terror continues; 1/4 of the genestealers done!

Okay so finally an update!
I've had these lads finished for some time now, but I haven't had the time (or lighting) to take pictures.
the other 1/4 should be ready soon, as I've been painting quite a lot recently..
So here are the pictures! And yes, the pictures are kinda crappy, but I finally had the time, but it is already a little dark.. Also the red looks a lot more smoother and such irl. Also, I finally got to use the new vallejo paints I ordered, so I'm still a little 'alien' to how to use them properly, because I'm used to Citadel colours.

Also the dead skin looks much more.. grey.
Also my friend (who plays behemoth tyranids) said that this is their broodlord wannabee! xD

Finally, an update!
I've been sick today.. I had a small fever at the morning, but now I feel better.. Anyways...

We have found many remains, most just skulls, but few pieces of Terminator Armour were found. Most of the armours wore the Ultramarine colours, with the helmets being white.
We also found something, rather unexpected. Blood Angel armour, holding a chalice, that was thought long lost.. The Blood Angel was just sitting there, long dead, looking at the emptiness of the room. The armour made us feel sorrow, for our fallen brother, whom hold the same gene-seed as we do...

And something I decided to make: a new Captain! So that means I have 4/10 captains of the Black Tears, with two of them painted!

I've finally finished 1/2 of the Terminator! :D
Next would probably be 1/2 of the Genestealers, but, before undercoatting them, I might paint couple of my Chaos Lizards.

News, more news, and nothing but news!

So yah, nothing much has been going on, even with campaign! I'm having my first match tomorrow, My orks versus Chaos Space Marines. I hope it will get much more 'action packed' next week, but the today's heat just made me, my brother (He is using my Blood Angels in the campaign, by the way) and my friend (Tyranid player) to go to the beach. I was supposed to have this game yesterday, but CSM player didn't have time to play then..

On to some painting news.. I've painted one of the Terminators (the one with Lightning Claws) and a test sample for my Ork colour scheme. I'll add them later, probably when I get another Terminator ready, leaving my with one undercoated terminator. After that, I'll start painting up some of the Genestealers.

I think I'll make a picture-less batrep about the game. I hope I'll have a good memory of it, and it will actually be my first batrep ever!

Space Marines; My history as a wargamer; marines and Terminator for The Red Terror

Long time no update!
I'm back, and this time to show you that I've actually painted 1 miniature in a month! I really need some inspiration, so I thought to start talking about the inspiration for the colour scheme.
But first, some pictures!

Brother Edmond is his name.

I won't be adding any fluff about him today, as I don't want this to be too big..

Now.. About 8 years ago, I was introduced to this hobby by my friends, and I just fell in love with the old Lizardmen. about in a week after that I got my first starter set. The one that comes with 5 space marines, one of which has a Missile Launcher. I was kinda confused back then as one of the marines was blue, while the other were grey. I painted them quite many times and even though they are not so fun to look at, I still like them. they were also my origin to my current Marine scheme. After that box, I got a box of 10 skink archers, but that's another story.

As you can see their colour scheme is quite close. The old marines got me some inspiration for sometime, but now I've ran out of inspiration, and need some to continue painting the metal box users. Now, here are 2 other Black Tears marines:

The Red Terror; Captain Huiqus Lepit and Brother Adalard

Long time no update!
I have been quite busy for some time now, so haven't had much time to paint..
Mostly because School..and lazyness.. and Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 xD..
But, I have painted two terminators to go on board of the Red Terror! :D

The Chapter Lord sent us to study the strange Space Hulk that arrived just moments ago. Even though he says that he demanded us, we really wanted it.The Red Terror was last time seen in Ultramar, and the force sent to recover information were lost.. But, we shall know no fear.. We shall be successful in what the Ultramarines weren't.

Bromitus Necrons; Necrons needing reinforcements!

I have finally painted everyone of the necrons I have. Feels great as, this is actually the first army that I have painted fully (but isn't ready yet.. Going to make about 2k pts. army, and I have currently around 700 points..)

We have noticed a large red 'hulk' that has came from a warp jump, suddenly appeared quite near Thenchor, appearing to have all sort of ships crashed on it.. It glows red and was named The Red Terror.. It is surrounded by small parts of old space ships, some that look ancient. The Black Tears, the space marines whom are from Cardano, send 12 dedicaded veterans, that had succsesfully earned their trust to wear a Terminator armour.. The force is lead by Captain Huiqus Lepit of the 1st company and by the Librarian Epistolary Mauno the Red. Joined by them are 2 squads of 5 terminators; Aliqnus and Bethjy Squads.. We aren't certain what they'll come across there, but time will tel..
